Laughter in the Grey

Wed, 06/15/2016 - 22:04 -- 1byme1

I walk to

somewhere

on this grey day

within  my life of shrewd colors

grey

In the grey

clouds above

I spot a flash

of light

of white

grey white

As I look up

drops of clear blue fall upon my face

in my eyes

in my mouth

in my hair

grey white clear blue

The wind picks up

the leaves around me

and I see what I am meant to see

The leaves are red and yellow and green and brown

I laugh with the canvas that is Our Earth

grey white clear blue red yellow green brown

The rain doesn't stop

The clouds don't lift

There is no rainbow

I laugh with the grey and all it's children

They walk me home
