The Last True Man at the End of the Road

So many people are lost in their ways,

Having lost their bearings, strayed in sea,

Fallen between the cracks--just castaways ,

I wish that they might be able to see.

Blinded by the ways of the world,

They cannot find the place of contentment.

Their hearts are torn and they had been hurled--

In the dark they don’t see sins or repent.

I must show them the light so they can glimpse

What is awaiting them along the road.

She comes to the end of the road and limps,

When a bright man meets her there with a goad.

“Who has been with you and where have you been?

No matter, it is the end, and you win.”
