Last Day
Location
How would you spend
Your very last day?
Would you talk with a friend?
But what would you say?
Maybe you'd call and say to your mother
That you appreciate, cherish, and totally love her.
Perhaps, you'd go and eat with your spouse
And hang on to all the mem'ries in your house.
It could be that you'd just read a good book
Find a café and sit down in a nook.
But, now, dear friend, I must ask why
You're reading this poem and not saying bye
My point here, as you prob'ly can tell
Is carpe diem, live life while it's well!
