Ladders

Jacob dreams of ladders

Two roads diverge

Nothing really matters

But please, dont let it hurt

Up ahead

Down the road

Gods and Angels

Make their toasts

Down below

Not far behind

Demons and Sinners

Dance and cry

Jacob dreams of ladders

and Papa holds his hand

He should be getting fatter

but he can throw up on demand

We are on the road again

Still stuck in between

To the left are all the Go-getters

and to the right are the ones with scars

Up ahead, Jacob dreams

Down below, Jacob's reality

Jacob dreams of ladders

and two roads diverge
