Labeled

Labels

I am born to a family labeled

Before I could walk

Before I could talk

I am labeled

By the color of my hair

Or how I sit in a chair

By the color of my skin

Or my thoughts within

I am labeled

If I was your friend

Would you try and amend

Would you look me up and down

And do nothing but frown

I am labeled

Love or hate

Make or break

Loose or win

I am labeled

Get up and stand tall

Give everything your all

Love who you are

I am LABELED
