To my dearest of the night,
Although we knew each other barely,
My love for you is given such might,
It gives me such pride to be with you verily.

Although my people have given me praise,
Loneliness is such a shame for me.
Until I met you that made my heart raise,
Isolation is not what is intended to be.

I gave you jewelry and shelter galore,
Yet you find my giddy heart with a smile.
Why not wait until marriage forevermore?
Yes, let us length this wait with a mile.

In short, I will make this brief for you.
The kingdom deserves to be ruled by two.
