Keeping Warm

December. Last year.

The Valley had gotten a rare snow storm.

Two best friends and I

walked out into the (literal) freezing cold.

Ice beneath thin rubber shoe soles

  makes for easy frostbite.

My toes hurt so bad.

Every restaurant was closed

  so three cold friends

shared a pizza at a Sizzle Pie.

Scares, coats, and greasy pizza.

A perfect Winter evening.
