Justice Was Blind

Justice was blind

But they tried to cure her sight

They opened her eyes

And called it a blessing

But with new eyes, Justice began to change

And those who did not shine in the sun

Were like the shadows

And sank into the darkness

And though Justice was no longer blind

Her gaze no longer fell on them

By removing her mask

By giving her sight

Justice could not see
