Justice only when ... Love rules

When Jesus speaks:

John 16:32-33

32 Look, a time is coming—and has come—when you will be scattered,

each one to his own home, and I will be left alone. Yet I am not alone,

because my Father is with me. 33 I have told you these things so that in me

you may have peace. In the world you have trouble and suffering,

but take courage—I have conquered the world.”

Justice only when … Love rules

If believers in legal authority go up against

believers in "higher" authority … it seems a

miss-match with legal authority always winning.

Or it seems that way … but who wins in the end?

In contemplation stepping back

to watch the world pass by.

See normal things turn upside down

as society wonders. Why?

Like doctors ... who commit to life

abort the unborn child.

These examples of "integrity” then

wonder why their offspring runs wild?

The teachers in our public schools

teach their own opinions.

Their guidelines are what they feel

and to education become a hindrance.

The religeous who really should be

a haven of true perception,

is being built on one's own thought

and personal interpretation.

Justice left us long ago

since laws are made by lawyers.

Judges are chosen from among them

to protect their "lowly" calling.

The hospitals and nursing homes

are just here for business.

Charity flushed down the drain

for profit and greed … is n't it?

We move from place to place in cars

and when they break … we wonder.

Is there an honest man at all

who'll fix it without plunder.

You buy a house … a simple place,

for a price that seems about right,

then the banker or the mortgage folks

gulp up interest with all their might.

You go to work to make enough

for yours to go through life

and there is also dishonesty,

envy, pride and strife.

It seems that where-ever you go

every-thing is out of whack

and when you step out into this world

just expect to get sacked.

When you are down on the ground

expect continuing late hits

for there is no-one to throw a flag

for this world is just the pits.

The pit in which satan dwells.

The place where death wants to rule.

The only hope is Jesus Christ,

Who has power to over-rule.
