Just One Job...May Change My Life

Location

Just one job may change my life,

Something to satisfy my future wife.

What job would it be?

Take one step closer, and you will see...

To be an Anesthesiologist would change it all,

Whether a planned surgery, or emergency call.

To save lives and make pain less of an issue,

A patient can not feel the incision in their muscle tissue.

A child or adult, no matter the work,

I would mute the pain, while the doctor maneuvers their fork.

I would make the experience easier,

And keep the body from having a seizure.

All an Anesthesiologist does, to have that job,

Just the thought of being there makes my heart throb.

Anesthesiology, the helper to the knife,

Now that is the job, that would change my life.
