Have you ever sat and wondered
Where the heck is my life going?

We are taught to be led without question
By parents, teachers, and more
Yet they all forget to tell us
Someday we'll be pushed out the door

We are forced out into the world
With one giant leap
There is no starting from the shallow end
No, we must learn to swim in that pool so deep

Grab the bull by the horns they say
Take on life without hesitation
Well I didn't know about any bulls until now
I had absolutely no preparation

Not one person told me what this life would be like
They never said, yes this life will be confusing
I was blindfolded until this moment
None of this was of my own choosing

But here I am, left out on my own
With nothing left to do but try
