Just Maybe

We don't know what he went through

We don't know why he ended up where he is

All we know is what we see

We see the a guy that has no where to stay

A guy who is in the exit of a freeway asking for some spare change

Some of us would give the guy money

Others won't

But most of us would thing to ourselves

"He's there because he wanted to be" or

"If he tried harder he would have a job and and a place to stay"

How do we know this is true?

Thats the thing, we don't

We asume and say things without knowing the whole truth

Who knows?

Maybe this guy went though a loss, and has no hope anymore

Maybe this guy just needs a friend or someone to talk to

Maybe this guy

Just maybe

He did try, maybe he tried to get a job

But all those no's people kept giving him made him think he wasn't worth it

Made him think that the only thing he could do was stand in the exit of a freeway and ask for some spare change

We don't know how people feel inside

Or the problems their going through

So lets stop assuming things and

And help those who need our help

Instead of putting them down some more
