Just a Girl

Can't you hear it from across the room?
She's crouched in the corner...
Her pain is screaming, but she never says a word.
Can you hear it?
Close your eyes and try to listen
She cries for help day and night
But you say, "oh tis a broken heart"
More like a broken soul.
Why won't you help her?
I know you hear her heartbeat slowing,
You see her growing weaker and weaker.
Well what if she stops breathing?
What if her last moan for help turns into her last gasp of air.
Will you care? Or will you think
Woe is she... Woe is she
She's a grown woman

More like a little girl...
