Just a Girl

Just a Girl

Daughter

Sister

Family Member

Sassafrass

Munchkin

Babygirl

Cousin

Loyal

To those earned

Strong

In face of peer burn

Temper boil

Sounds of injustice

Sometimes Wrong

In ignorance

Flawed

In both body sores

And mental logics

Occasionally odd

unintentional

Human

To the core

Intelligent

Litterature Experianced

Nervous

Socially inexperianced

Just want to fit in

Knowing my skin

Is like the mishapen puzzle piece

from an old puzzle set

impossible

unttainable

So I paint

through colors and shapes

I release the taint

of pessimism

Embrace optimism

grey gone rainbow shown

Shining hope

I cope

Right now

I am just a girl

Taking a bow
