The Judge

How will history look at thee?
You I speak of, not me.
It is an interesting question you see.
Yes, I find you will agree.
How will history look at thee?
Shall by chance it be your dexterity,
Or perhaps your charming simplicity?
Still the question ponders me.
How will history look at thee?
You may not know now of your destiny.
Shall it to be kind and free?
That my friend is determined to be,
For you have a legacy.
Worries enter not the head of thee.
There shan't be need for plea,
For history writes not your eternity.
