The journey

With nowhere to turn, my life flashes by. Looking around and nowhere to hide. I know all these faces, and they all know mine. The same faces day after day. They get comfortable with not saying hey. Walking around with nowhere to belong. It all begins to slow down when one boy comes along. He takes me with him to the church he attends. They embrace me like I've been there since it began. signs of God I begin to see in everything. The mountains, rivers, the way the trees dance and sing. The wind wipping through my hair. I can't see it, but I know it's there. My heart races it beats faster with love. For this man I have never met, but I gave everything up. Everything to him, I give him my all. He gave so much and what I give can never compare, but I try and I live each day for him. Falling on my face, but always with his help getting back up again. To one day reach heaven and see his wonderful face. To cry out to him and thank him for everything. Thank him for the journey and for the eternity in heaven he has promised me.
