JOIE

Kept me up to date

Hair as warm as hers, as scarlet as hers,

your ivory glow illuminating,

a burning light in these dense four walls.

I've dreamt to meet you, to see you,

a day to ourselves, a lifetime.

You laugh at every hushed expression,

curiosity's invisible barrier unmoved.

Sugared teeth in the night lights,

fingers delicately embedded into curls,

secret kiss underneathe the table

A gentle yet obivous goodbye.

Laid down in a certain light.

Eyes gazing, thoughts unfold.

Could she ever be mine?

A princely kind of love you are.
