Want things done for me

Used to things done for me

I strive for my independence, that feeling of success

But to ignorant to see I hardly scratch the surface

Thought I was mature, and making all the right choices

My mind set on things I wanted to do rather needed to

Not because I'm lazy but thought everything was alright

How was I gaining independence, what success come to me

Reflection can me one's true friend

Because only it will show you what you did wrong

And help you see the path you need to take

This day, I can truly say...
