It's In The Skin
We’re sorry this place is reserved for another
It’s not your skin or your color
Nor the name of your mother
Or the many discrepancies you suffer
How can we have a revolution
Without a small contribution
That includes some type of solution
To this outdated constitution
Something that considers more than money or skin
When deciding who gets in
The status quo shouldn’t be the latest trend
Now that’s something we can all comprehend
This poem is about:
Me
My community
My country
Our world
