It's not you, it's we

Everyone says that boys will be boys

But us girls aren't dolls or personal sex toys

It's not fine to steal other's joys

To make someone scared to even make a noise

Girls are hurt by your stupid actions, we're left with a scar

So to forget the pain and hurt we hit the bar

We drown out our pain which only makes everything worse

As we're walking home drunk, we're thinking we're cursed

Then we discover the killing beauty of drugs

We fall in line of life with the thugs

When we finally have money we waste it on beer jugs

We have gone through much worse than just an unwanted hug

The news that comes next is a definent brain bomb

The results of the test read unwanted teen mom

It's not like we wanted this but we say it's our fault

We were the ones that couldn't make time hault

Our hearts we're left behind, they're stuck in a vault

That's what becomes of us who are victims of assualt

We are scorned and dead, forgoten and broken

We are objects, dolls, just a mere unrepairable token

Maybe their's a reason behind the pregnancy, the drunk, the drug addict, the suicidal, the PTSD

You're not alone if you've been through this becuase remember it's not you, it's we
