Finally, that time of the year is here,

Where we spread happiness and cheer,

Christmas is truly a time of magic and fun,

Making long-lasting memories with everyone,

 

As the pearl white snow settles in,

Christmas time has just begun,

Get into the Christmas spirit,

By listening to songs and lyrics,

Baking fresh and soft cookies with your mum,

So Santa won’t be left hungry when he comes,

Decorating gingerbread men,

Covered in candies and gems,

Get cosy and watch your favourite holiday movie,

With peppermint popcorn and a salted caramel smoothie,

Accessorize your house and tree,

With shiny streamers and vivid lights- red, yellow, blue or white,

Buy presents for your loved ones,

And on Christmas day getting some,

 

I am sure all of this sounds really great

But there’s more to Christmas than opening presents or to celebrate,

Christmas means peace on earth,

And good will towards men,

Praying to gods,

Saying “amen,”
