It's a Beautiful Summer Day

Location

It's a beautiful summer day,

and the sun shine bright,

yet I feel so cold.

I want to shake this feeling off,

but I can't seem to escape it.

It's a beautiful summer day

but it's always winter in my heart.

No matter how hard I try,

I'm trapped by the cold and icy prison.

I don't who to turn to,

as it seems no one will understand.

It's a beautiful summer day,

everyone seems to be enjoying themselves

yet I can't seem to feel the joy and excitement they do.

My depression has finally taken over,

and I just want my family, my friends to understand:

It's a beautiful summer day,

but I feel sad, lonely, anxious, and helpleless

I need more than just advice and cheerring up.

It's a beautiful summer day,

and someday I hope I can join you in the sun,

but first I need to you to undertand what I'm feeling.
