It's All in Your Head

"Where are you going? Where have you been?

Nighttime's dark but mornings grim

Hurry where you're headed, forget all that you've seen

The past is inescapeable, the future's just a dream"

What have you been thinking? What do you believe?

These days on earth slip by like leaves on a breeze

How can we tell the truth, when lies are all we see

Reality is a concept, nothing is as it seems

NOTE FROM AUTHOR; The part of this poem in quotations is not my original material;

It was written by Lani Taylor, from the book "Dreamdark;blackbringer"

After reading the short poem she wrote, i was inspired to add on to it with my own thoughts.

Just so you know.
