It's All About Me

Who do I identify myself with?

Or is the greater question “what”?

I find a deeper meaning in education

other than the cliche essential;

I look for potential

of the identity

which can possibly be

who I’m called to be;

I’m searching.

Life calls me to announce my niche

or artificialize one so that I can’t blend in.

But artificial is not real

and artificial is ingenuine

and felicity can not be sought from artificiality,

So why me?

So why would I try to convince myself that I am someone who I do not see?

Why would I try to accept an obscure reality?

I want the finesse of my voice to be heard

Not blurred or miscontrued;

For the world to see who I am

In my actual essence

The gist is:

My goal is my distinction.

I crave the depths of my truth

which I will soon come to realize

I hope to understand the glisten in my future’s eyes.

I am in search of myself.

I look to you as a segway:

lead me into a better understanding for my stand in life

through the merit of  books

through the struggle and the strife

and your initiative of leadership.

I look for you to sail my ship of interest

in the vast selection

of my soon-to-come perfection.

I look to you for help in finding myself.
