James 5:16 

16 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed.

 The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

 

Is it possible?

 

What is the use of praying

if my conscience reproves me?

What is the use to ask

for directions, I won’t follow?

What is the use to search

only for my own satisfaction?

What is the use of living

to pretend to live God’s will?

 

How can I pray with faith?

I know that I’m forgiven.

How can I have security

if I will sin again on purpose?

How can my flesh disturb

my inner peace, that’s driven

through Holiness of God Himself

as I died in Christ and with Him arose?
