It Hurts

You go to school
You put your books and book bag in your locker
While you get the stuff for your next class
BAM!!
Your face is now smashed up against the locker
Your hands are held behind your back by an unseen hand
Your stuff is on the floor
Papers everywhere
Someone is behind you
Keeping you in place
You can’t move
Your face hurts
Your arms are burning
You are powerless
Then you hear that voice
Oh that dreaded voice
The one that haunts you
Everyday
Every night
One thing comes to mind
Oh crap not this again
BULLY
A word everyone knows
A word everyone understands
Everyone knows a bully
Some intervene
Some stand by and watch
Others walk by hoping to not be seen
Some are the bullies themselves
Why do we allow them to exist?
Answer: silence
No one knows
It just does
This world is full of bullies
You see them everyday
Not just at school
You see them everywhere
But WHY DO WE ALLOW BULLYING TO CONTINUE?
Can you answer that for me?
