Is it guilt?

Luke 11:47-48

47 Woe to you! You build the tombs of the prophets whom your ancestors killed.

48 So you testify that you approve of the deeds of your ancestors,

because they killed the prophets and you build their tombs!

Is it guilt that keeps folks away or my obnoxiousness?

Is it good to have no guile if it always hurts feelings?

Is truth engrained in what I say surfaced in obviousness?

Does it take a while to understand the things I’m dealing?

If one starts with flatter is that the way to misconception?

If one makes someone feel good first before the blow of truth

Is then when it settles later in simple comprehension

after the messenger gets cursed as history has proved?

Children of the ones who once killed the prophets

Pure and well kept graves filled with dead-man’s bones

Who will overcome and who will forfeit profits?

Who will be a slave to the Truth in God’s only Son?
