Mark 3:5

After looking around at them in anger,

grieved by the hardness of their hearts, He said to the man,

“Stretch out your hand.” He stretched it out, and his hand was restored.

Is a heart pliable ... can it make choices?

Does it affect personality ... is it that I am?

Is it really viable ... to ignore voices?

That beat on vitality ... to show who I am?

Is there room for others ... who fall for evil?

Are there lots of places ... if filled with love?

Who takes charge at first ... is it the devil?

And the 2nd does it ... invite grief and hurt?

Nowhere there is written ... or carved in stone

That loved can be contained for one’s self

Neither will it survive ... when left for your own

For it will be channeled from the living well

Is it any wonder ... that love needs no label?

It is recognized by young and old

Never for the taking … only for the able

Who will pass it freely without being told

Love has its own nature … the imprint of Christ

No one can change it … just bathe in it

It is freely provided … free from any price

A cup of living water … just to drink of it
