I see people everyday

Who sit all alone

Pretending to be something they’re not

Just to fit in

Change their clothes and dye their hair

And bring people down

Then there’s girls just like me

Trying to be invisible

Don’t wanna bring others down

Cause we know how it feels

We go to school feeling like

We just don’t belong

We hide out in the shadows

Don’t let people tear you down

And break away your innocence

One of these days you’ll be

Living in your dreams

Everyone who tried to break you down

Will be living in their insecurities

You don’t have to feel invisible

Cause when you are feeling weak

And wanting to give in to them

Just close your eyes

And drift away into your dreamland

Remind yourself that you are strong

And you’re gonna make it

Yeah, you’re gonna make it through

People get hurt all the time

For being themselves

They get tortured and tormented

Breaking them inside

There are kids you hear about all the time

Who commit suicide

They couldn’t deal with all of the pain

And being different

Is this really how our society is?

Cruel and judgmental

Is this really where bullings led?

People are crying

And trying to hide and

Change everything that they are

To fit in with the crowd

And some are taking their lives

Cause they’re bruised inside

And had no where to hide

From the monsters in the corners

You don’t have to feel invisible

You’re all perfect and special

In your own ways

Don’t let low self-esteem

Of others cause you to change yourself

Don’t give ‘em what they want

I have faith in you
