Intro to despair

Revelation 3:15-16            New English Translation

15 ‘I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either cold or hot! 16 So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I am going to vomit you out of my mouth!

We’re not even trying

Tears are slowly falling. Is it a pity for self or for the hope that’s gone?

No ways are here to dry her cheeks or catch the tears in a bottle

What is wrong with humanity? Why is sensitivity baked and overdone?

As on the grill of the human heap, all appears like a smoldering-endless riddle.

What happens if compassion runs out and indifference enjoys the hurting?

Does it seem to appear this way of life surface before the tears have dried?

Why is there a lack of action to help as in isolation we are preserving?

The love for the emptiness that sucks us up until we are entirely petrified

Where is a way to go from here, if we’re enjoying where we’re at

No reason here to move at all out of this state of our contentment

Get another suit of clothes somehow or possibly take another bath

So we are clean for the next call in the embrace of our detriment
