2 Timothy 3:16-17 

16 Every scripture is inspired by God and useful for teaching,

for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 

17 that the person dedicated to God may be capable and equipped for every good work.

Inspiration where are you ... why are you not here?

I did not ignore you ... but addressed other issues in my heart

There is no reason to be jealous ... for you are far above that

I know you to be the “tool” ... to give my thoughts a start

You never will manipulate ... or trigger my emotions

Maybe the other way around ... when my flesh gets involved

You travel from beyond me ... to present in true devotion

Your constant invitation ... when questions need to be solved

Like a bird from Heaven ... you sing into my heart

Composing a song of serenity ... as you write the notes for me

You always sense the moment ... and the need to depart

As in these special times ... you guide me to be free
