Inspiration from Algorithm

I often think of us as a time of day

early evening, late July

cherry trees swaying in golden hour light

I float home with you

every step a bit of music

on the sun-soaked streets

Morning wanders through the winding streets

the hazy warmth of day

each moment feels like music

the world writes itself for me and you

lingering hours, late July

the air electric with light

An afternoon fades into evening light

casting a glow onto the amber streets

somehow, I find you

as the night eases in from the day

the jazz in late July

becoming our very own music

The sun hums her music

as the shadows dance with light

an ode to late July

and the sidewalks of endless streets

on this seemingly infinite day

it is all sunlight and honey with you

These hours I carry are the minutes of you

the clock ticking in radial, radiant music

the best stories begin in the middle, when the day

is illuminated with familiar light

The simplicity of the streets

and an affinity for late July

Yet you are so much more than late July

every tomorrow that I know is you

it is the song of the streets

which curve like notes of music

bending towards the light

and composing each new day

Early evening, late July

every step a bit of music

I float home with you

Cherry trees swaying in golden hour light

On the sun-soaked streets

I often think of us as a time of day
