Insincerity

Psalm 119:15

15 I will study Your commandments
    and reflect on Your ways.

Disciples Needed

Where have you been all my life? I’ve been waiting for you

I can’t understand that you left me here all alone

You were suppose to be part of me since I didn’t have a clue

And now you grasp my hand to pull me out my comfort zone

You bypassed my emotions and blinded my point of view

You convinced me long ago that life was not worth the living

Then in your confused devotion you placed me in a pew

To look around and criticize and despise the little giving

Now you act surprised that you found me changed

You expected the worst and not a change for the better

Now you will surmise and how to thoughtfully rearrange

A faith that has been growing through the love for God’s letter
