Please tell me that we haven't become

Mindless conformities made to match;

to blend in, to mask who we really are.

Why do we follow so closely

this pattern of mediocrity?

It seems to me that we're afraid

to look beyond ourselves.

Our time on this earth is far too short

to live with such regret.

A life of forgiving is well-worth living,

we just don't see it yet.

If it's true, what they say,

that nothing is yours until you give it away,

then we're all very poor men

with a debt we can't repay.
