Inside of Me (Thoughts Within)

Location

Inside what is, is not
Within, is more than without

From without, one may look
But within, one may see
As I am who I was or will be.
But only who That is to me.
Is it instead what it is?
It cannot be, for what is, is not.
To not think, and in so thinking of it.
Holding on in frozen space
Like thinking of another place
To live or die in flesh and mind
Thoughts collect to form
The earth and humble sky
Whose whispers watching, i
If not seen then created
Of everything life is

Warbling in the mind
In seconds, thoughts,
Chemicals, and air.
So constantly rising
And passing with time
Like the clock of life
The mind catches still memory
Evenings, nights, and days
Buildings, cities, nations;
Flowers, trees, forests;
Words, numbers, names;
Voices, sounds, and songs
Unknown dwellings
Of their imagination on paper
Like those curses scorned my name

I sing that the Earth does not hear
Of dilapidated feelings on deaf ear.
For that is me, that is who i am
I am what speaks these thoughts.
