Inside
Matthew 22:36-40
36 “Teacher, which commandment in the law is the greatest?” 37 Jesus said to him,
“‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 The second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
40 All the law and the prophets depend on these two commandments.”
Inside
Inside look, not pretty ... if I have a choice
will I choose poverty ... or affluence at the core?
Will I choose a dreamer ... or to be admired
is fame attractive to me or solitude the more?
Some think I need people ... and self thinks alone.
Others may know the better ... am I blind to self?
I see the flaws in others ... and don’t notice my own
for that kind of life is easier ... can’t you tell?
If someone makes a mistake ... I think and cry:” Punish”.
I wish maybe that “suffer” ... is what I want to see.
But when I go in hiding ... after I fail and fall
I think of forgiveness ... at times for all and me.
A pretty sick condition ... far from: “Love your neighbor”.
I don’t know about indifference ... it seems to be all in deed.
I am so used to self ... and that is a major hindrance
in my search for righteousness ... which God provides me free.
I am just like the rest ... see! Here I go again
comparing me with standards ... which are set by self.
No wonder that in this world ... I don’t make an impression,
for better or for worse in me ... are choices made in hell.
The flesh was never made ... to be used as an excuse.
It was just provided ... to house the better “mine”
and the Holy Spirit ... Who came to the rescue
to guide and direct me ... and keep me from decline.
Die to myself the issue ... to set Jesus in me free.
Not to keep Him at a distance ... in every and all decisions.
Take the “what” I am ... and place it at His service
without any question ... just to obey His Call in destination.
“Be like Me,” He whispers:” Yes, I know you can.
All you have to do ... is place yourself in Me.
I will do the rest ... without any complication
and you may not notice ... as you’re being renewed”.
People will notice Glory ... and know it can’t be you.
Folks will see the Father in love ... at work in you.
A walking super-natural ... the miracle is you
and you won’t be aware of it and possibly have no clue.
