"insecure"

Location

Crowded hallways never felt emptier to him
Devoid of people who sympathize with him
Walking with his guard up in case some bullies try
To pick a fight with him just because he’s shy
She enters the classroom knowing it’s hell
Full of other girls who do their job well
Voices dripping with false sweetness, they
Target her with words that ruin her day
The teachers don’t seem to know or care
Making school the bullies’ lair
Here bullies thrive and here bullies strike
Their victims always having a bad plight
These two people wake up every day
Dreading the seven hours from August to May
They hate the whole world and scream at the sky
“Why, oh why, can’t I just die?”
They curse the fact that they are alive
And do everything they can to end their lives
He points a pistol point-blank from his head
And pulls the trigger, bye-bye, he’s dead
She takes some pills and swallows them dry
A few hours later, her body there lies
Please hear me out, and please hear this plea
Bullying is a crime from which no one can flee
It doesn’t matter whether you like them or not
It doesn’t matter what they look like or are like to lots
What matters is the person that they are inside
So please, stop bullying and let it die
There is no difference between you and I
There is no reason to make someone else cry
We are all humans and we are all people
So please, stop bullying in the name of the people
