Insecure

Location

I wake up every morning

Afraid to look in the mirror,

It's my reflection staring

Right back at me it appears

That I don't like what I see.

I check my phone and login to Instagram

I see what I like

Wishing that was me

Whishing for having long curly hair,

Those big brown eyes,

Eyelashes so long you can see from afar,

That smile no guy can resist,

And those lips they wish they could kiss,

Most of all that body you wish you had.

But you can't help yourself

That you don't appreciate yourself

Because you see someone better than you.

You want what they have

Because you are not proud of who you are

You are so insecure.

But why? you may ask,

Because we are women

Who care of the most ridiculous things

And don't notice the true beauty

The beauty with in us

The beauty that makes who you are inside.
