Inperfect

I’m a perfectionist but i’m nowhere near as perfect as i want to be.

I wish i was one of thoes girls

Who organizes their phone by color and flowery pictures,or who puts polaroids hung up above her headboard.

I’ve tried to be, but its never really worked out with me. you should know that i’v tried everything.

I’ve bought clear phone cases and made pintrest boards detailing everything i wanted.

I printed out hand written sheets that i used to practice every day.

You see, i’m sloppy i  cant keep anything clean i can draw and write but i cant do origami.

Or make frindship bracelet that doesen’t fall  appart one you put it on.

I can’t french braid hair and i can’t oil paint Without getting it on my noes.

I’m a perfectionist, but i’m trapped inside a body with imperfect hands.

This poem is about:
Me
My family
My community
My country
