Ink Speaks

If you could only write once,

what would you say?

Would you let your thoughts that run deep

crawl out and play,

allow the pen's ink to give all your secrets away.

Or would you just jot down a few things

and continue to hide.

Sit back and

let the ink continue one's lies.

If the pen was the only thing

to read one's eyes,

What would it say?

Would the words brighten someone's day

Or fade the colors grey?

You only write once.

So let every stroke speak,

every word sing a song,

and every sentence have a story that follows

along.
