Sitting here i look around me, 

Seeing a whole lot of nothing.

Everyone just going through the motions, 

Yet in terms what do "the motions" truly mean.?

Everyone putting on their mask,

Trying to hide how they truly feel. 

For expressing emotion is showing weakness,

Hiding behind something we are not.

Putting on the perfect clothes, 

Wearing the right amount of make-up.

Doing your hair just right,

Sounds like an obsession with perfection.

Perfection,

What is it truly.

Hiding behind the mask,

Doing everything just right.

Fear of being different has rooted out the fact that we are individuals.. 

BE YOURSELF.
