Incredible Tomorrow

It's not what everyone knows,

It's the things that you hide

When you spend your day

Trying to smile but

It all seems so forced.

You go home and

You lay under the covers

With the door shut tight,

A pillow to muffle the

Screams of the demons

That followed you through

The day. A scream

Just isn't enough so

The tears run down and

You feel so alone and

There is no way out.

But you find yourself

Searching and searching.

Every time that you

Come up empty handed

Your hands are filled

With the soil you're

Digging, a handful

Closer to the grave.

You feel it in your

Bones every time that

You move and you

Lay there and scream,

Try to while away the

Hours so that life isn't that

Hard. You feel so

Alone and you wish

It would end so you turn

To the demons that

Are trapped inside.

The movement of the

Blade seems so simple

And relaxing but the

Demons that escape are

Not what you were

Searching for. They

Tear you apart.

You feel more than

You've ever felt but

You wish it would stop.

Now you regret finding that

Blade. Your pillow is

Not your best friend

Because you realize that

You are not alone.

You have never been

Alone. You are loved.

You think of all the people

That care for you and

You see just how long

the list really is. And the

Demons inside you

Are real but you are

So much stronger!

You will not back down

Again! You have a

Tomorrow and it is

More than you could

Ever hope for. And

You know that what

Everyone sees when they

Look at you is the

Strongest person;

A person who defeated

The demons but they

Don't know the whole story.

They see your scars

And call you names.

But you can ignore them

Because you have a tomorrow

That you thought

Would never come and

That,

That is worth more

Than anything in the world.
