*Physical*
As in the deformities and insecurities
The lifelong scars for all to see
Unrecognizable faces
In unknown, stranger places
We were whipped into shape
And taken to rape
The blood through my veins runs deep
With concentrates of this ‘nigger’ blood

*Mental*
Ode to the master
In all regards,
My people still obey him
The white, wealthy, man
By the plantation owners hand
Forever divided we remain to stand
Although once there was a plan
Towards strides of freedom
We have become lost as a people
The chains are now amongst our necks, gold
For our minds are brainwashed and fooled
Into a double-consciousness, ignorance to be thickened
All possibilities lost, forever stricken

*Spiritual*
Since the voyage started
Souls would dwell
In these significant stories,
about our people lay
Unfortunately none would get the chance to tell
Through the Middle Passage
The transport through hell
We were conditioned against ourselves
Now it seems, the entity inside of thee
No longer reside in you and me
Here we remain
In this purgatory, souls lost
In this land, our common ground
Once was found
But yet again,
We are lost

And lost it seems
We will forever dwell
In this Imprisonment
