Imagine

Imagine a life where your parents are forever lasting in love.
When you never have to worry about the two people that gave you life will never separate.
But my imagination cannot fathom that unrealistic life.

My life is separated in half having to picks sides.

Imagine your own mother being “hurt” as she says for wanting to be in your dads life.

And to instead have that bond with her husband a stranger to me.

Imagine a place where I can just be free.

Not having to write pages full of my emotions from not knowing how to express them without exploding.

This poem is about:
Me
My family
