IMAGINATION FEARS

IMAGINATION: by Paul Gray

Imagine life were but a dream
Imagine in your heart
Imagine how this life would seem
If Knowing from the start

Imagine gods were but a myth
Imagine love a joke
Imagine none to share them with
These thoughts of love and hope

Imagine grace, imagine truth
Imagine our existence
Imagine life as just a spoof
Of fantasy persistence

Imagine loved ones from the past
Imagine those here now
Imagine loves which truly last
For those who made a vow

Imagine all as if we sleep
Imagine then awake
Imagine how our eyes would weep
To know that all were fake
