I'm Tired

Today, I say
I'm tired.
An hourly occurence,
Like clockwork.
I'm tired.

I didn't get enough sleep last night,
For I was awake with the
Chaos of the world
Running through my head.
I'm tired.

I'm constantly anxious, running around
Doing homework, kissing frogs,
Wondering if I'm ever doing enough
I'm tired.

I'm constantly in an act.
Pretending to be a good "daughter".
Pretending I'm happy when they call
Me someone else. Being everyone's rock when I'm shattering from
Overuse. Abuse.
Pretending I'm okay
When I'm already dead
I'm tired.

I'm tired, I'm tired, I'm tired.
It means I'm not okay
