I'm That Girl

Location

"I'm That Girl"

I'm that girl

Quietly sitting in the corner

You barely glance my way

Thinking I'm nothing special

I'm that girl

With bullying in my past

I had learned to overcome them at last

Nothing like fighting back

I'm that girl

That nobody asked why I cried

Not knowing I was thinking of suicide

Only seeing a smile

Talking to me wasn't worth while

I'm that girl

Dragging a furry goat across the ring

Proving that size doesn't matter when showing

With FFA proudly on the back of my blue corduroy jacket

I'm that girl

Who was born with a gun in my hands

Growing up shooting old rusty cans

And as I got bigger the calibers did too

Keeping me away from a fight or two

I'm that girl

Who made history

Leaving everyone in a mystery

Representing the USA

Always a bowed head to pray

I'm that girl

That no one sees

Sitting in the corner

Accomplishing my dreams

I'm that girl

Shining like a pearl

Waiting the unfurl
