I'm a Dreamer and I'm Observant

Fri, 11/06/2015 - 23:44 -- NyaM

I am who I am today because my mother reminds me.

She never let’s me leave the house without saying 5 words behind me.

“Don’t forget who You are” is all that she would say.

"Who am I?” I asked myself as I went outside to play.

I am a dreamer and I’m observant too.

Looking at all actions and questioning all views.

I wonder why people don’t like rainy days.  It’s the best time to sleep or read a book.

Do you hear that?  I hear the laughter of fairies.

Do you see that?  I see elegant dragons.

Do you feel that?  I want happiness too.

“Don’t forget who You are.”  What does this really mean?

Don’t birds of a feather flock together?  My friends and I love the same jeans.

I am a dreamer and I’m observant.

I pretend to be an actress in a heart wrenching scene.

I feel that mermaids exist.

I touch Tinkerbell’s pixie dust.

I worry about my future.

I cry for others pain.

I am a dreamer and I’m observant.

"Don’t forget who You are”, it’s embedded in my heart.

No matter where I am in life, this phrase, from me, will not depart.

I understand the earth is round.

I say the book is always better than the movie.

I dream of success.

I try to do my best.

I hope for love.

I am a dreamer and I’m observant.
