I'm Changing, Because I Love You

Despite the eloquence of
My words;
My actions
Showcase merciless intent

My actions
Seem to display me
As selfish
As if
I don’t love you

I am TOO scared
To tell the truth
The fear in my eyes
In the middle of my stoic face

I am
A master
Of the
Poker face

You deserve to who I am
You deserve to know
Everything that makes my past
You deserve to have
My whole-hearted love

You deserve my
The person I used to be
The friend I still am

Despite the eloquence of
My words;
My actions
Are the only things
That can save
The growing love
We share

This poem is about:
My family
