Illness

Illness

Hebrews 12:11 11 Now all discipline seems painful at the time, not joyful. But later it produces the fruit of peace and righteousness for those trained by it.

The discipline of God is never meant to punish

It is just there to form the way we ought to be

It is purely based on love from God the Father,

Who is simply preparing us ... from self to be free

The Eternal Thought of God is for us to be in health

Not to grieve and sorrow but to be filled with peace

This is truly waiting for us ... as we persevere

in the trials of the temporal and trust the Lord is near

3rd John 3:2 “Beloved, I pray that all will go well

with thee and that you may be in health.

I know it is well with your souls”.

Do many infirmities come from the corruption of the body?

The flesh we understand is such to the core

Reflections of health are not necessarily an example

of what is considered “Holiness” standing at the door

Is prolonged illness in the will of God?

Does God chasten us this way to form us into perfection?

“To be a living epistle” ... would it work this way?

Can a body wrecked with pain  ... be a “Holy” reflection?

In hospitals and nursing homes is that where angels labor?

Is it not reality that God wants to heal us?

Think about the Lord Jesus ... Who healed many in the body

More than He drew spiritually ... for it is suffering He dealt with

He knows a time still possible where sickness and pain are gone

Where grief and sorrow have no part ... in the Eternal destination

He prepares a place for all ... who trust in what He’s done

He paid the price in full for all who accept His plan of Salvation
